Abstract:

Information is provided on chemical composition of the feed additive Kostovite forte developed in Russia in cooperation with the Croatian company VETERINA Ltd. Data are tabulated on the effect of vitamin deficiencies on growth, development and health of pigs. Pig diseases caused by deficit of macro- and microelements are also outlined. Data are tabulated on composition of Kostovite forte (vitamin and mineral components) formulated for pigs. Data are included on the effect of use of Kostovite forte on liveweight gain of piglets, costs of fodder and production costs.
